Is there a product that names auto-names a group of files?

like file1.jpg, file2.jpg, and so on...

You can do that from Windows itself, just select all the files u wanna rename and rightclick choose rename and put in a name say 'file' the rest will be rename file(1), file(2).....file(n).

There must be many s/w on the net for doing that too...just Google.

any version of ACDSee , select all then choose Patch rename
