Any other bold souls want to share it, for better or worse? And does it accurately reflect on you? For example, my first name is Greek for "honoring God" and my last name is Welsh for "light, fair"--put it together: "honoring the God of (Fair) Light". Yep.

My first and middle name mean, "The Constant and Faithful Promises of God." And yes, that has been my life. I am blessed with the qualities of constancy and faithfulness as my first name stands alone, and when combined with my middle name, it gives the blueprint by which my God relates to me.

My children's names portray their qualities too:
1. Pure Victory in battle
2. Crowned of the nobility
3. Beloved, who is like the Lord, and His Promise
and
4. From the River comes the faithful and bold man posessing the qualities of Godly leadership. (Now THAT'S a NAME!)

Angela: from Angel - messenger of God.
I find it interesting and ironic that my mom felt like god gave her this name and a vision of her first child when she was a very very young girl. She gave me the name she felt God gave her to give me . She believes in God but rejects the Bible and most of the most basic of Christian beliefs. I don't boast in it but I love to learn about God and pray that I can be and am an accurate messenger for Him. He has given everything for me so I desire to be a witness for Him.

My first name translates to mean "Defender."

My last name is an unusual German name that means "of the Cathedral."

That--I guess--would make me a defender of the cathedral, which is a bit odd, since I am not and never have been Roman Catholic. Perhaps my ancesters lived near a cathedral in Germany and my parents just liked my first name.

I personally think it's rather cool.

First name - Greek for Honey Bee.
Last name - Irish "descendant of Séaghdha". Séaghdha means "hawklike, stately."

So I guess that explains my close relationship with animals! Cool!

Thomas...means "twin"...I am not a twin, but I am actually named after Saint Thomas..."Doubting" Thomas, that is. And yes, I do tend to doubt things until I see for myself...pretty accurate, I would say.
