Please don't make any comments about how bad a perm is for you. I just would like to know why I can't itch my hair...

The chemicals are going to burn your scalp if you do. It can hurt really badly, and should you have to have them rinse the solution out of your hair early, you will look really ridiculous. To avoid having to itch for a few days before a perm, just make sure you keep your scalp clean. You should get enough of the gunk away from your scalp to keep from itching, and yet keep enough to prevent a burn. Avoid styling products for a few days too.

Itching will irritate the scalp which in turn burns easily when perm is applied, leaving you with sores on the scalp and hair loss.

If you do the chemicals will irritate your scalp causing burning sensation. Dont irritate your scalp before using any chemicals in your hair.

because it causes you're scalp to lose skin thus making the perm chemicals more irritating and dangerous.

You can t scratch because it will burn like crazy I don t know about itching your hair whatever that means

If your head is itchy maybe your sculp is too dry so a perm might not be a good idea.
