I do not believe in killing a baby or a life for any reason.

If they can cure cancer and aids it's better to kill a few thousand babies that really don't care what you do with them since, they're not really alive yet. If you don't then millions more will die from these diseases. I think of human embryos as plants. They are alive to some people, and inamimite objects to others. But one day in the next 50 years all the people who reject the use of stem cell research are going to have the blood on their hands of all the people that died from the diseases. And one day, their bound to catch one of the diseases and die themselves due to their lack of common sense.

Sacrifice the few to save the masses. Simple math. Millions>Thousands

Yes i believe that stem cell research should be used to help to find a cure for some of the harder dis-eases that the physical body is prone to.
To use a religious approach to this the CREATOR said that he has given all the plants and trees for the healing of nations. If we can do this .Why not take it a step further and use human stem cells reaped from dead persons to help us understand the mechanisms of dis-eases. and use the knowledge gained to help others over come genetic errors and lead a life closer to what most of us enjoy.

Actually being able to put to good use the aborted babies would be a blessing. That those who are against giving doctors and nurses some way to feel a part of humanity again because they are doing a thankless job of removing idiots before the idiots become a burdon on society, scream murder, is the bigger sin. Especially when those same anti-abortionists seek to use the government to give them vengence as did the Pharasees by denying salvation to everyone, one has to wonder if we missed a few needed abortions.

As I said in another answer, the majority of successes with stem cell treatments are coming via stem cells harvested from the patient's own body. Nasal tissues are quite effective, as far as stem cells are concerned.

There is no rejection of stem cells when they come from your own body.

Yes, I most certainly do.

I believe that it is much more worth saving the lives of the living than those that are not born. They do not have a voice. We (the living) do. If you really don't believe in taking life to create life, then you need to stop eating your burgers or salads because those things had life, too, and for you to eat meat and vegetation to maintain your own existence...would be hypocritical.

I believe that stem cell research should proceed without the destruction of a human embryo. It can be and has been done.

As long as human embryos aren't used, it's fine.

Medical advances are nice, but sometimes they come at too high a price. Using living humans, even embryonic ones, as organ banks definitely qualifies in my opinion.

Embryos that are going into the medical waste bin? Sure. I sure as hell don't see any Christians whining about invitro-fertilization which destroys embryos as well..
