The Bible says, "And Jesus said, No one comes to My Father except through Me".
In other words, you pray TO God, but you pray through Jesus. Thus finishing your prayers with, In Jesus name I pray.
As you are praying, pray to God. Close you prayer through Jesus.
Thank God for His Son Jesus..

I see that you under stand the basic but the reason why we pray is to talk to Jesus, thank him for what he done for us today. Asking him for for givens or even asking for help when needed. We are all children of the lord. Some better than other but Jesus looks at us equally. We all have to grow with faith. It says in the bible when ever two or more open the bible and praise him, his is with them. I can't find the verse but i know 100 percent it true.

Joining Christianity has never been easier. All you have to do understand the MESSIANIC role of Jesus and not be fooled by hoaxes such as DaVinci Code, and the Gnostic Arabic "Gospel of Judas", and the Muslim forgery called the "Gospel of Barnabas".
Focus on Jesus being the person through whom you express your worship. Dont think of Jesus as a prayer broker or mediator. When you are allowed to contemplate the concept of the Trinity, you can responsibly focus your worship without worrying about a "middle man".
I recommend you research the pagan traditions of pre-Islamic Arabs and decide for yourself how much of the Koran is from God, and how much is just a political catalyst to appease curious voluntary (and involuntary) followers.

No Christ does not. It was his disciples who prayed to the Father in the name of Christ!
I believe it is best to pray to God in the name of the son.
Our Father in the name of Jesus,....

Jesus taught to pray to the Father. It is appropriate to ask in His name, but the prayer should be directed to Heavenly Father.

Jesus is God, so yes we can pray to Him.
Also Jesus is the Savior, we go to the Father through Him.
You know Father Son and Holy Spirit...all in one...Trinity.

John 14:13 for example - And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
