You are so right! Of course, there are others that think it came from a big bang!.....WHATEVER! I know there is a God and he has a son, Jesus Christ who lives in my life and will forever!

Because the real wonder comes in the discovering of how and why it happened. When I accept a simple answer such as "because God wanted it to happen" the wonder and complexity is lost. It is in the search for the truth and the reasons behind such amazing things that makes them so interesting. If this search for the truth comes up with the answer "because God wanted it" then so be it. Untill then, I will enjoy the search and bask in the wonder and complexities that biology, chemistry and physics has offered and has yet to offer.

Okay okay, valid question. I would highly recommend you study the theory of evolution, specifically natural selection. Also a quick briefing on abiogenesis might be in order.
Any questions on anything evolution related can be answered on talkorigins.org
Basically, due to the fact that our planet is the right size and just the right distance from the correctly proportioned sun allows an atmosphere and the other basic things needed to support life, such as water. Now due to natural selection, organisms who gained mutations that were beneficial to the environment flourished in the environment on earth. Therefore, life became more complex and it evolved into what you see today.
God may have or may have not had something to do with it, but the complexity of life doesn't influence my belief of god.
As for "wonders of the universe", can you define that?

To see the truth means that they would have to examine their own hearts, and that might interfere with their shallow existence. Some people would rather waste their life learning rhetoric in an attempt to justify their own lifestyle, than to simply accept what has all ready been revealed and know the peace of being the person they were created to be.

What serves you as a substitute for logic and reason is a logical fallacy (a flaw in thinking) known as the "Argument From Incredulity"... which is a sub-category of the "Argumentum ad Ignorantiam" (Argument From Ignorance). It goes something like this: "I can't conceive of how this might have come to be; therefore, God did it."
That does not represent a limitation of nature... it represents a limitation of knowledge or intellect. Also, it is intellectually dishonest, since it does not ACKNOWLEDGE the limitation of knowledge or intellect... it merely invokes the fanciful idea of a supernatural creator-entity to manifest the ILLUSION that cognitive dissonance has been resolved. It substitutes 'faith' for fact, and 'belief' for knowledge... but neither faith nor belief are sufficient to sustain reason... they are only sufficient to sustain willful ignorance.
That is the epitome of self-delusion.
"When one person suffers from a delusion, it is called insanity. When many people suffer from a delusion it is called Religion." ~ Robert M. Pirsig

Simple. To me it requires equal amounts of faith to believe in either of the following:
1 Universe just exists with it's complexity and seeming perfect design for life
2 God just exists with omnipotence and created everything
I can't justify one hypothesis over the other (and yes, I probably didn't list all of the major hypotheses...)

I could ask you a similar question... How can you look at all the wonders of the universe and the complexity of life and believe God spoke it all into existence in six short days. Absolutely frickin' ridiculous!

Yeah! I was watching this fascinating video on birds. My mouth just dropped open at the incredible abilities all these different kinds of birds have when it comes to living, finding food, raising the young, protecting their nests, etc. Not to mention the beauty of them. I agree...I look at nature and all its splendor and wonder the same thing...how can anyone think it's chance?

Lots of people see what they want to see, with out thinking.
They never bother to understand that a creation can not exist without a creator.. Their to busy trying to party.
Science has proven it is not possible to create life from something that has no life in it.
