It would help to know what the website is all about.

After a short visit, it's hard to tell. Plus, there is advertising all across the top and right side giving it a crowded feel. At the very least, the advertising should contrast the rest of the page so it's easy to tell the content from the ads. It seems to run together.

From the looks of it, though, the site doesn't appear to be that new as you claim.
