GNC has a supplement called "Nourishair" that makes the hair grow faster, you can read what's in it by googling it.
Also ProCaps labs sells a "hair skin and nails" formula that does the same thing, supports hair growth and health
If you take only Biotin alone, make sure you take at least 2.5 milligrams or 2500 micrograms [the same thing] a day because thats' a good amount to take. I use the Nourshair supplement from GNC now and my hair is growing faster than it did, but it took about 6 to 8 weeks of daily use to see results.

There is no way to make your hair grow faster. Hair naturally grows at the same rate no matter what you do. However you can keep it from growing slower by taking your vitamins and drinking lots of water. You want a lot of protien, calcium and vitamin d. All products are going to do for you is keep your hair from breaking off. Getting regular trims will help it from becoming more damaged. If you have a split end and dont take care of it its just gonna split farther and farther up the hair shaft, so when you go in for a cut they will have to cut more off. But the most important thing to remember is the second your hair leaves your scalp it is dead. (Thats why it doesnt hurt to cut it) Same thing with your nails (it only hurts the skin not the nail). Good luck.

Cut it every month when a new moon starts, it has something to do with the gravity pull on earth. I heard this from my hair dresser she said it may just be a myth. What worked for me was only letting a professional cut and color my hair, using a boar bristled brush. ( found in beauty supply stores and better salons) buying better hair products and top end straightening irons. Also brushing hair more often from root to tip.

Unfortunately, there aren't really any secrets for making hair grow faster, I don't think. As long as you are getting proper nutrition, you just have to wait.
Getting regular trims will make sure that your hair looks nice while it's growing, though, and it will make sure that split ends don't break off your hair and make it shorter.
(For me, getting a trim is the same as having the ends cut. I'm not sure what the previous answerer means.)

Your hair grows faster when it is healthy.
To keep it healthy try not to do damage with hair dryers, flat irons, curling irons etc
try a good shampoo... like pantene, dove, garnier fructese, or herbal essence, all of those are good.
oh and getting the ends trimmed every six weeks helps too. But dont cut off too much. just enough for the split ends to be gone. it will grow faster

I have flowing tresses and my secret is to take PRENATAL (yes...you read it correctly) vitamins. Serious, try it for at least 2 months and you should notice a difference. Of course if you have some sort of health issue, maybe you outta consult your physician...but it made a huge difference for me.
Also, braid it at night....so it doesn't get what I call "bed rage", similar to road rage, but from the pillows - this helps with split ends so you don't have to cut it as often.
Then just sit back, have a pop tart and let it GROW!

Eat healthy and take B Complex vitamins. Trim the dead ends off once a month. When shampooing your hair massage your scalp with your knuckles. It stimulates blood flow which in turn stimulates hair growth. Plus it feels good.

Trim the dead ends away! I know it seems like the wrong thing to do because you want long hair! But trust me cut away the dead bits and your hair should grow faster!

Get your hair trimmed on a regular basis..but not too much! Do not...I repeat..do not let the hairdresser take off more than an inch. Once every 2 months should do the trick.
