Funny you would think after having so many atrocities committed against them that they would think twice about committing them against others, but they seem to be fans and followers (just like bush and his cronies) of the old adage "do as i say, not as i do". If they kill a civilian, its collateral damage, but if someone kills one of theirs its murder, they have this 'you punch me in the nose, i shoot you in the face' attitude that does nothing to show their supposed wounded nation outlook. Get rid of the hardliners on both sides, sit down and thrash out a peaceful solution, just keep bush out of the talks and they may get somewhere.

Let's ignore you inane logic that one country shouldn't be allowed to defend its self against terrorists. Instead let's look at your lack of mathematical skills. You claim that Israel caused $50,000,000,000 worth of damage to civilian property. Are you really expecting any one but people like you that can't count or use decimal points (if any) to believe Israel caused $50 BILLION in damage to buildings made of stone and plaster and very old construction as that.
That amounts to the equivalent of over 16 SSBN Boomer class submarines or 15 Nimitz Class Nuclear aircraft carriers. I would place the damage to the civilian property to be less than $5,00,000 (5 million) if even that.
By the way, how much damage did the 5000 rockets fired into Israel cause? Using you math skills it must be at least ONE TRILLION dollars. How soon do you think the hezzbos will ante up the money they owe?

Do you have any idea how stupid you are? Do you have any idea of the thousands of civilian Israeli's have been killed during so called peace time? How many millions of dollars of damage to buildings have been inflicted by the Arabs? You people only notice the situation when Israel reacts to the attacks. You never say anything of the Arab attacks on Israel or the deaths that occur and the buildings destroyed because of them. The government of the US knowingly abandoned 450+ POWs in Korea when they signed the armistice and later untold numbers in Vietnam.(Both treaties signed by the same man Richard M. Nixon) so it maybe understandable that you don't understand the sense of honour that compels a nation to stand by it's fighting men with more than words. One of your citizens in danger or even insulted in a country would have had your fleet heading toward that country, now you want to talk and feel to act is somehow barbaric. If I am in danger I hope for a little barbarism.

while a philosophy professor can sparkling a $fifty 9 million earnings specifically the charges of working his/her branch like an attractive ranked coach, then specific, he/she might desire to gets a commission. yet because of the fact that all of us understand 70,000 human beings won't %. a stadium or watch television to visual reveal unit a debate on ethical relativism i assume the factor is moot. Coaches are paid to generate funds for the total college, educational besides as athletic. the quantity of funds a solid soccer and basketball application generates probable exceeds the total payroll of the educational group. How lots might that professor make if he depended completely on training and alumni help? $40K if he became fortunate. Plus a coach would not get an entire life place with tenure. If he would not produce winner (funds) then he's long gone the subsequent season.

So, in your opinion, Arab nations or terrorist groups that don't like Israel should be able to attack Israel, but Israel should have a limit on how effectively it can defend itself. Shame on Hezbollah for hiding with civilians. Shame on Hezbollah for firing Katyusha rockets intentionally at Israeli civilians (could you tell me how many Katyushas hit Israeli military targets?). At what point does Israel gain the right to effectively defend itself?
If Lebanon had actually secured its Southern border, this would not have happened.

i agree with you! and fat head... shame on you for not knowing how to spell hezbollah!
Israel is horrible, they are using the "holocaust" as a powerful weapon. anyone that goes against israel is automatically generalized as "anti-semitic" it's ridiculous and if going against Israel is "anti-semitic" then, "anti-semitic" I am. I go against who is wrong and in this case Israel is wrong. They used excessive force and probably committed war crimes. How can you use the kidnapped Israeli soldiers to justify a war? (Although, I do know that Israel launched rockets into Lebanon not only for that reason.) Everyone is telling Hezbollah to release the two kidnapped Israeli soldiers but what about the hundreds of thousands of Arab soldiers held captive by Israel? Who is rallying for them to be realeased? Israel is clearly wrong, Hezbollah wants to prove a point and they are forced to use rockets and gunfire to prove their point because everyone is neglecting the concerns from the Arabs.
Shame on the USA for supporting the true "terrorists."

Funny how people forget about the 5000 rockets that were fired into Israel. And if they let Hezbollah get away with 2 soldiers, what would be next. Unfortunately, the international community pressured Israel into signing that cease fire that will soon be broken by Hezbollah, all it does is embolden them to do it again, and they will because you can't negotiate with terrorists, they have no honor, dignity or respect for anyone.

Aww, gee, so, they were just supposed to let hezbollah lob bombs at them, then? There was only so much damage because Hezbollah placed their rocket launchers next to apartments, schools and hospitals, thinking Israel wouldn't dare bomb those buildings. SURPRISE! I, for one, am glad that Israel finally said NO MORE to the murderers and cowards who call themselves soldiers of Allah. And it sure shocked the hell out of Nezrallah when they fought back, didn't it? He actually thought he could do whatever he wanted to Israeli citizens without reprise. History will tell the truth. Hezbollah deserved it, and Lebanon did as well, by letting them use their country to attack Israel.

You have it 100% bassackwards. Israel has been being attacked and its citizens killed for decades by the terrorists thugs. It's only right that Israel take care of business with these vermin. Would you want the US attacked as Israel has been for so long? On second thought, you probably would...
