National geographic states that in fact, homosexuality and bisexuality is known throughout the animal kingdom such as in birds, beetles, sheep, fruit bats, dolphins, orangutans, and macaques to name a few. One in particular, the bonobo, an African ape closely related to humans, and highly sexually active, is a significant example. Studies suggest 75 percent of bonobo sex is non-reproductive and that nearly all bonobos are bisexual.

Homosexuality is natural, but it's also an evolutionary dead-end since true homosexuals, either animals or human, do not reproduce.

The problem is that until recent ages, children were the focus of the family and the more children in a family, the greater the potential wealth. Homosexuality was condemned because no children could come of it. It was seen as decadent because only a decadent society could support having nonproductive people. It got labeled a sin in cultures that needed to grow.

In our day and age, having children is a gift for most couples, but they usually stop at one or two. Other people choose not to have children at all. In this environment, homosexuality is seen as permissible because, frankly, we don't all have to have children. The world is over populated as it is and homosexuality is a more of a blessing than a curse.

If you do further research into homosexualty and bisexualty in the animal kingdom, you might find only the dominant male is allowed to breed females and the other males must be content with each other. A shortage of one sex or the other could also cause it. Overpopulation could also be a factor. There's always a reason it exists. Look for it.

EVERYTHING is Natural. What humans do, HUMANS do naturally. We make laws to stop what some may believe (perhaps the majority) may be WRONG, however it is all in our nature to do what we do . . . We destroy, and enjoy it. We build and admire it, and then gather in large numbers to watch it get blown up. This is natural for us.

We are capable of having sex with anyone and would do so if we had no moral teachings .

Even morality is part of nature and the level of morality is learned. Some of it goes against the grain of some who's NATURE steers their behavior in a different direction then the "front" given off by the majority. Closet Homo sexuality has always existed, and now that tolerance of homosexuality is slowly hitting the mainstream, the purist do not want it known that it is a normal behavior . . .a natural behavior . . .Their answer to that is. . We are not Animals. . .Well. . .HELLOOOOOO. . .yes we are!!!!!.

I find it interesting that homosexuality will occur in any animal group if it's overpopulated in an area. Granted, humans have always had it around, but with the planet bearing down on a population of seven billion, is it any wonder it seems so prevalent today?

Being present in nature doesn't necessarily make it natural.... the natural way of things (in most species) is for the male to impregnate the female to propogate the species. Homosexulity flies in the face of this natural phenomenon. If it were to become the norm, the species would be doomed to extinction. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against homosexuals, They are fun to hang out with and they can perform whatever sort of acts that make them happy in their own homes, but I just can't see it as being natural per se.

I think it's mostly "unnatural" to devout religious groups and they tend to read the bible's words to the letter without using their own thoughts and realizing there are more people who are bi-sexual, homo-sexual, transgendered etc. in the 'real' world.
Their usual pat & unoriginal answer to your question would be something to the affect that those homosexual ppl, animals etc. are "freaks" or something just as judgmental. Anyone who would accept ALL people for their life choices and differences is a true believer of the rights and respect of Human -kind!

It's only unnatural if you believe that the sole purpose of sexual activity is to produce pregnancy. The Roman Catholics believe this and look what a mess their priests are in.
If you get pleasure from sexual activity without always trying to produce pregnacy( which is the usual practise) then homosexuality cannot be considered unnatural.

because we are not animals. we are not birds, beetles, sheep, fruit bats, dolphins, orangtans and macaques or the bonobo.

we are human beings who have been asked to use our free will to submit to God.

sticking your prick into someone else with a prick is filthy, deviated and just sick.

Silly Billy, only closeted homosexual homophobes believe that homosexuality isn't natural. It's their way of hiding from themselves by using religion as a cloak.

It's the classic nature vs. nurture debate. Personally, I believe people ARE born gay. I have homosexual friends who have known since they were children that they were homosexual. Think about it, how can you "learn to be gay?" Being effeminate and being gay are different. Besides, you just said it, homosexuality is known within nature.

an amazing thing, the animals were all destroyed in the flood in noahs time- why? because all flesh had corrupted its ways. meaning its not natural. animals have no free will, so you have to say they are influenced by humans and their immoral nature. (i saw an article that they found homosexual pigeons in san fransisco- not a normal pigeon behavior.)
