The term "midget" is offensive today. Most of them prefer either "dwarf" or "little person".
But to answer your question, a dwarf is an adult 4 feet 10 inches or under.

The term midget is actually not defined in medicine. It is a slang term that some people use to refer to people with dwarfism that are normally proportioned. These people would still be categorized in medicine as dwarves or little people.
