He cares that we follow the commandment to love your neighbor as yourself.

Well think of it this way; God supposedly have unbounded mercy. What of all those people out there who have never heard of the religions we follow today? Someone who knows nothing of what we believe to be the "true" religion. Should they be punished for not believing? They haven't even heard of the religion! Of course they shouldn't - if there is a God that can care for us in this way, he wouldn't care what religion you were - as long as you lived your life the way you felt was right, the way to live that doesn't harm others or breed hate.

That's the way I see it.

God doesn't care about the religions of the world, but he will judge false teachings.

The Word of God says "These people honour me with their lips but their hearts are far from me. They worship me in vain; their teachings are but rules taught by men. Isaiah 29:13, Matthew 15:8,9.

Religion is just those man made rules.

Jesus said love God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength and love you neighbour as yourself, there are no greater commands than these. Mark 12:30,31.

There's only one almighty God but we have branched out his teachings into different thoughts & beliefs. Thus, various religions were born to different people in various parts of the world. Every religion thinks they are superior than the other one. In fact, we are all ONE!

There isn't a soul in this world that has personally spoken to God themselves to know what he thinks and cares about. I'm so sick of those people who try to pour that religion bullshit on me, and tell me what's right and what's wrong.

So, who knows?

Yes, of course. He instructs us to guard our hearts against false teachings. So, we find a teacher that sticks strictly to the Word of God and study to prove what He teaches. Then put into practice what we know of God's will for our lives.

Judgment is required for living according to God's will. Judgment is required for surviving, period. Do you choose who to befriend, do you avoid certain neighborhoods? These are judgments too.
