I have three red circular itchy rash looking things, one on my mid back area and one on each BUTT cheek .

You need to see a doctor. Ring worms are exactly that -tiny microscopic creatures! Calamine Lotion only takes away the itching, but it does not kill them, the rash will only keep spreading. Make sure you clean your sheets too, as they can live in clothing and on pets so kitty should get a bath!

Ring worm is not a microscopic worm but a fungus infection. There are different fungal infections that cause problems by Tinea sp. : Athlete's foot, Jock itch, and ring worm. And of course you've seen those commercials about toe nail fungus. Calamine lotion won't work because ringworm is a fungus infection. You can get medicine for it at the drug store, you don't need to see a doctor unless it doesn't get better.

no, calamine lotion won't get rid of it. you need to see a doctor. in severe cases where it reaches your scalp, clumps of hair will fall out and create big bald patches. I've seen it happen. Don't delay.

I don't know if calamine does, but tinactin does, the stuff for athletes feet. I've had doctors reccomend it.
