Because touch is an essential part of a relationship because without it, it doesn't feel like it's real. Even between friends, you have to tap each other while messing around or hug when you first see each other. It solidifies what's there. Without it....you're pretty much screwed because you're not satisfied with just hearing and seeing.

It does not seem to work because you are not around that person daily therefore you do not feel that you can trust hat he/she is not cheating with someone else. While the cat's away the mouse will play. You have to have trust before trying to have a long distance relationship and even then it will wear the trust thin after a while. When your mate to hold you at nite and he/she is far away, when you are feeling ***** and he/she is far away. You will only resist temptation for so long then you will fall in. But they say absences makes the heart grow fonder. But that much absence in not needed. just a day or two. Maybe if you partner had to go away for work pout of town, Good luck.

I think long distance love never works out because the individuals are not able to spend that quality time that is needed in a relationship and the fact that grown folk will do whatever they want to do.

Long distance relationships never work out because as humans we have a need to be together. We need closeness, touching, hugging, etc. It's hard to be true to something you can't even really hold. Then when you are really wanting to be close, somebody near you reaches out and hugs you and you feel that longing just to be close to someone. And I guess you can figure the rest out, lol.

It is very hard to have a long distance relationship if you didn't start the relationship together because people don't have anything to hold on to from the start and will get pulled into the feeling of being close with anyone they meet that is closer.

not all long distance love never works out... i believe it depends on the two people involve... it's either they didn't really love each other that's why they think it's hard to be so far away.. or maybe they both found somebody else...

had a long distance love for almost a year and it's still doing great.. we make it sure that we never lost contact, we try to make it sure that we communicate everyday, even with just a simple text message... we really both love each other deeply so we're both doing all the things just to make it work... it takes two to tango...

It doesn't work out because what ever barrier of trust that was formed is now gone. Because of insecurities or previous mishaps in a relationship-such as infidelity. The people involved may generally stray away from each other.Or one person simply fell out of love because they couldn't handle the distance or fell in love with some one else.

long distance never works because we are not made to love someone when they are never around. we are actually needy creatures who emotionally and physically respond to touch. you cant hug or kiss on the phone, the feeling is just never there.

if someone was threathing to kill you right in front of you...you would trust them to the point that they are bad and they might do it....when being threathen from long distance like europe...what can they do?...its a different feeling...because you can easily lie to the other and trust is very hard to gain and give out to in a long distance relationship

i mean 1st u can't see the person ur with, touch them, kiss them nothin, you will lose out on a lot of physical interaction from the person u won't be able to be with them whenever u want or need that person. u would just have the phone or a letter to get in touch with that person and eventually it just would not work out
