More than likely you have the HPV virus. most times they do not even test because it is mainly the cause of dysplasia. mild dysplasia generally clears up on its own, cervical cancer is actually pretty rare considering 95% of the population has the HPV virus. your doctor will monitor you more closely, read up and learn all you can, knowledge is always power

Really, it would be a good
idea to call your doctor and
ask them specific questions.
Its hard to think of those things
when you are in the office.
Especially at the gyn. Yeesh.
Anyway, If I have questions, I
write them down and then call.
The doctor is usually happy to answer to
any concerns you have.
Just take your time and let them know.
You have a right to know and understand
your diagnosis.
You will feel much better, I am sure and
then you won't have to carry worry...

Have you had a coposcopy biopsy, if so, ask about a procedure called the cone, it helped me, I had it done 3 years ago, and have negative paps since then.. I wish you good luck
