drink more powerade:

doesn't it make sense that SOMEONE must have been flying the plane while the pilot was locked out?

I just reasoned that it was his co-pilot, Jesus.

(OK, it's a stretch, but I'm bored.)

My opinion of this statement is not that the pilot is more important, but that the co-pilot is there to notice and correct any mistakes that the pilot makes, without calling it to his attention, except for those instances when he chooses to make the corrections just in the nick of time.
So actually the co-pilot can be considered the most important, because the pilot can move along at his own leisure, but the co-pilot has to be paying full attention at all times.

He got them holes in his hands and his feet, I would think the FAA would have something to say about letting someone who is technically disabled co-piloting a plane...

Obviously he would be bad at juggling the ice and dishing out peanuts also (should he try his hand at cabin crewing)

Nah, planes fly just fine without people. It's the landing that's a problem.

Jesus needs to be your pilot.
And He already told us He is the door.
