I don't see any harm in letting her know how you feel. Don't come on too fast, though. Take your time, and don't pour it on too hard, if you know what I mean (don't flirt too much....you might scare her off if she's not ready). Just be careful.

I would show up with a picnic basket, a blanket, and some flowers. Tell her that you are returning home and would like to spend a little time with her. If she accepts then you know she is at least slightly interested and then you can talk to her about how you feel away from her huge family. She may also have a crush on you but is afraid to express it around her family because she knows the teasing she would have to endure.

Don't worry about any 'moves'. Just give her a lot of attention and get as much conversation going as possible. In this conversation, you shouldn't have to worry about 'making a move' either. Just let things happen as they should. Chances are that if you two hit it off and have good times together, she'll make time away from her family to hang out with you.

Dude, if she likes you she's probably waited the whole summer for you to make a move on her and now it's too late. Although...who knows. She still puts up with her. Why don't you at least get her number.
Also, don't fall for that "mature" crap. Nobody wants to act their age. You're only young once, enjoy it.

dont do to much tell her you like her and see what she says if she doesnt feel the same way she will be flattered, and get over it. she is not going to give up your friendship because you like her. it will make her feel good and hay maybe even put that thought into her head. i had a friend like that we were friends for about a year i found out he liked me and it made me consider going out with him even though i had never though about him like that before. ( we are getting married in 2 weeks !) worst case she doesnt like you as long as you dont pour it on too thick and make her uncomfortabe she will get over it and your friendship will be fine

man, just chill and be yourself. in the meanwhile have fun and hang out with other people, seems like you're setting the expectation high. you gonna end up very dissapointed when she doesn't feel the same way towards you.
