I'm a dentist.

Medical insurance covers every procedure under the sun.....nose jobs, face-lifts....hell, even if your car gets rear-ended, your medical insurance will jump in and try to pay the repair bill.

The answer to your question is the biggest, fattest "NO" you've ever seen.

Hell....medical insurance doesn't cover a lot of medical procedures! Why the hell would it cover dental procedures! LOL.

Nope. In most instances, ANYTHING dental is not covered. Not even 100% in dental insurance! It's crazy. Your best bet is to REALLY take care of your teeth... or shell out big bucks later.

Generally, medical insurance will not cover cavities. Dental insurance will cover them.
