First start having parties by your self turn on your music and dance no one is watching so you can do what ever turn on the tv at the same time so you feel like you have other people around. Go to the book store and read books about how to make your self even more exquisite and dress to the 9.Go to the movies by your self but only go to see the best movies.Take time to greet the local cashier at the supermarket go shopping early in the morning and take you time to just browse esp if there is only a few people around. Start working out even more that exercising never fails to up lift the spirit and the more up lifted you are the more people will be attracted. And the better your chances will that mr/miss complimentary will come knocking at your door wonder why your so happy to be alone .It is the mystery people are attracted to, people are by nature afraid to be alone for some reason so they tend to avoid it at all cost.Even if it means a life of misery with some they hate or a situation they hate.Learn how to entertain your self and you will never be alone again.make love to your self love love love yourself and until your mate find you

Lol, well first off let me just point out that there's a difference between being alone and being lonely. If there's no friends around? Well $hit that was going to be my answer. Call up some friends. I don't know; keep yourself busy with work, house work, Yahoo Answers, etc. All sorts of 'great' stuff to do lol. Good luck.

i go out to the beach late at night, light a candle, and sit in the darkness looking out into the blackness of the horizon with the waves rolling in, after a while the whole world melts away and i sit in my own realm of thought where there are no worries or problems, only the fresh breeze blowing in off the water and the waves rolling in and emptiness all around.

if my hormones are raging then i just call a friend with benefits over

Read. Read. And read some more. Choose a variety of books, too. Try Tom Robbins' Skinny Legs and All. Also, find a hobby--anything where you can listen to music and keep you mind busy. Just don't allow yourself to be idle. The idleness will feed upon itself and drive you mad. Trust me. Avoid watching too much television.

And, if you can, adopt a pet from the humane society. They make for wonderful company.

Doing what I am doing right now. Sitting behind the computer and spreading the wisdom drinking a wine cooler. Pretty sad I know. LOL

Like everyone else here, I spend my time on Yahoo answers - even when I should go to bed so I can get up for work the next day.

I play counter strike, come on here, or chill with a beer in my hammock.

When "my hormones are raging" i beat it like a retard would a drum.
