If your dad has these symptoms again, take him to the ER at once! Shortness of breath, left arm being numb or having pain, are symptoms of a heart attack! It depends on where the pain in his back is, you didn't say exactly. But, if it happens again, get him to the ER! I hope this helps.

The word is "which" not WITCH! A witch is what you see around Halloween. Anyway, it sounds like heart problems and he had better get himself to the doctor NOW. Likely he will suffer a medical emergency if he doesn't because the symptoms you describe are those of heart disease.

You MUST go see a doctor and describe every little detail because if he does get a stroke/heart attack, it can be fatal. If he is experiencing tough breathing, he must call the 911 right away because he may die. This is all I can tell you here, the rest is from his doctor.

If your dad has had his left arm go numb and has had back pain then he has already had a very light stroke. He needs to go see his doctor berfore he has a heart attack.

Yes, this could be very serious. What you are describing are signs of a heart attack. He needs to get to a doctor. 54 is young for it, I agree, and it also could be several other things, but I wouldn't guess.

OMG! Get him to the doctor! Yes, at any age, you can have a stroke, but I think it might be a heart attack. Please, do it now. Get off the computer, and take him to the doctor before it gets worse.
Best of Luck!
