mono hides within your bodies immune system and stays dormant till you have added stress,a cold, worrying about a test, any stress can bring mono back to the surface. So try to chill a bit when you start feeling run down and worried, get all colds an coughs under control and taking garlic tabs to boost the immune system can help as well.God Luck!

You can have relapses for a while yes, but you cannot catch it again. When you have a relapse, it is the same disease (Mono) as you originally contracted. This can go one for a couple of years but should subside.

Not to scare you but people who have had mono, or have HIV and certain other diseases are at higher risk for developing cancers. So never let any weird symptoms go unchecked. Early detection of any illness is key. That's not to say you will ever get cancer, but just know that because it can save your life knowing so should it ever rear it's ugly head!

"Mono". That means one, and you cannot contract it twice. Like I said earlier in another post you may feel fatiqued for sometime but so much has having your glands swell, your spleen becoming enlarged that will not happen.
