When everything is rotten, what do you do/think of, to make you feel better?

i look at my son and smile and its takes me away from all the bull in my life

I drink beer and watch funny movies/shows on tv.
Doing something constructive helps too, make something with your hands. Not a piece of art per say, just something.
Just don't use powertools or very sharp objects if you take the beer advice! It can get messy.

Being with family and friends is a great way to cheer yourself up!

Volunteer for a homeless shelter, a shelter for battered women/children, or just a nursing home. Doing for others always makes us feel better about who we are. God bless. And pray!

To be truly honest, I wonder if I forgot my mood altering drugs first. Then I think of the good times my family had when my children were at home.
