Use hot water and a clean facecloth to open pores....then warm water and non-perfumed soap to lather up and clean face...rinse with cold water to close the pores. Do this several times a day. It's also so important to keep your hair clean and preferably off of your face. Eat low fat and drink lots and lots of water.

If that doesn't help, see your doctor about a birth control pill called Diana..it's awesome in healing up acne....(if you are female that is) *smiles*

There are a TON of methods to keep your skin clean. Go to a dermatologist and ask about them, or go for some creams.

Anyways, you could use some over the counter medication. Remember: Eat healthy. Acne has almost nothing to do with the foods you eat, but if you eat crap, your skin will be terrible.

When you bathe, dont use HOT water. It will open your pores and all the oils and bacteria will clog them up when they close.

Wash your face, but not to much. If you wash your face to much it will defenently make it worse.

Dont get sunburn! This will make your acne worse.

And the over the counter meds I reccomend are Proactiv solution. Great stuff, order it.

If it's out of control all over then just pick up an ointment or a shower face scrub of some kind.

If it's a handful of pimples then the best at home remedy I've seen is putting a little bit of toothpaste on 'em. Don't overdo it, just a dot on each pimple and they will be visibly reduced over a short period of time..it's good to do it before bed then when you wake up wash it off.

Acne is a sign of a toxin build up in the intestines. You need to change your diet. Eliminate junk foods, too much sugar, fats. oils, greases. Start eating real food like fruits and vegetables. Nourishing foods from the food groups. Drink lots of water! At least BIG 8 glasses of water a day. NO soda period!

Water, water and more water. Wash your face with just soap and water, and pat your face dry, don't rub.
