I love that you all jump in to the answer and say no with out thinking. Where would you be, if the americans that were alive when your family came here, said no sorry we do not want to allow you to enter the US. Come of your high horses and realize imagrants are what created our country. Realize that at some point we all came from other country. Enless you are an American Indian you have no right to tell anyone that they can not come in to this country, because you were not told no.

Say the total is 10K per person. And they now have the rights as a legal resident. They are covered for their civil rights, social benefits like medical and all civil services. i don't think 10K will even close to covering that potential expenses.

Plus, if someone just newly comes in, that means he only have to spend 1000 and he got the rights to stay here and work.

That will attracts many more people risking to come over here. What are we going to do ?

There are possibly over a billion people in the world can pay for 1000 bucks to work in US.

That can not be right.

No! No! No!...they still broke the law and good people are in their home country applying and often paying a lot more to do it the legal way.
There are millions of people all over the world that would jump at the chance to pay $1000 to come to America right away.
Never reward a behavior that you don't want more of.....Your proposal amounts to a reward for breaking the law.

Well the way I see it they keep giving visas to people from overseas to come here to go to school many of whom never go to school to the point they have a Russian newspaper in Texas written in Russian that is bought and doing well. Might as well let the people who cannot speak English well pay taxes also who cannot compete for my job as they are poorly educated such that the bosses who want to keep them illegal so they can underpay them then claim to the IRS they pay them more so they pay less taxes. We give student loans to poor people from Europe and Russia if they want to go to school here so they can compete more with us so why not shut down those visas and let the poorly educated do the harder work while we are managers? I am sorry but I have met both groups and I feel less threatened by the poor undereducated predominantly Indian Mexicans or Hispanics than the Europeans and Russians who come here who are well educated and speak English fluently. The Hondurans and El Salvadorians I know came here illegally after 1989 but immigration who does not follow their rules has given many amnesty when the extension was only for those who were here before 1990 even when they write down they came here illegally after 1990. The students I know who came here after 9-11 never had to complete the additional requirements of paying a fee to have themselves accepted into an immigration approved academic environment which were then suppose to track them. What is the difference they all came here illegally and immigration approved of some of them being here after 9-11 who should not be here and gave some visas who never completed the immigration visa process. Even immigration is breaking the laws. So who does this apply to many came here to work not to go to school on student visas and that is all they are doing. I only know one Russian working in a hotel who is going to school at the same time. My understanding is they are not suppose to be working on a student visa but immigration hands them a social security card that is not stamped only good with immigration papers like they do with people here on work visas. I think it is because they are very very white categorically nothing else. Were the terrorists here on student visas or were they from Mexico. It is all about the money with immigration not safety in the US from what I can figure out.

NO, Hell NO...... not even if each illegal alien paid $10,000,000 there is not enough money to make illegal aliens OK, they are criminals..... criminals are criminals.... illegal aliens are criminals. I want them all deported....

I wouldn't give them the status of calling them illegal person.... illegal alien is the proper term... they have no rights in the USA, no right to be here, OH, they do have one right.... the right to GET the HELL OUT of the USA.

But that's just it. They DON'T want to stay. They just work for the season, send money home, then leave to come back again next year and do it again.

No! Would you tell an armed bandit that had robbed a store of billions of dollars, 'Oh you can just pay a "fine" of $1,000,and i won't require that you serve a prison sentence for breaking the LAW".
How STUPID is that?
