Are angels perfect? If so, do they have a need to wear clothing? I know this sounds like a dumb question, but I am seriously seeking a true answer, since someone emailed me and told me how unwholesome my yahoo 360 profile page was. I did not see nudity when I posted that photo. I saw a radiant beautiful angel. to each there own I guess.

Then it was a radiant beautiful angel I have seen Angels without clothing and they are beautiful creatures and I have seen them with clothes still beautiful. I cannot believe anyone would make an issue out of that. However you think of angels should be the way you display them no matter what you do someone will find something to criticize you.

No, angels are not all perfect. At least 1/3 of them rebelled against God. They are capable of fouling up but pretty much have made their decisions already.
Nudity of this kind is not angelic. Beauty is not perfection in and of itself. The real angels are never seen as women, not that I have anything against women, but very authoritative men. When they appear, they are clothed in glory which appears as white too bright to see, like staring into a million candle power spotlight. Their authority is so great that when they appear, people topple and shrink back in awe struck fear.
Their glory comes from being in the presence of a holy God. Even Moses having only glanced at the back of God had to cover his face when he went down to the people because the glory of God was too great for them to look at him.
Cherubs like you see in curio shops do great harm to the image of angels. The real Cherubim as described in the Bible are fearsome creatures.
Well worth looking into what God has to say about angels before promoting such an image labeled as an angel.

The angels I've seen all are unique with different sizes and personalities. I think they can appear different to fit each persons reality of them.
I liked your angel pic on your web page, it is not offensive to me. It has the same glow and feel as an angel to me.
Angels are wonderful light beings, they have helped me many times. An author I really like that talks a lot about angels is Doreen Virtue. I would highly recommend any of her books.

ANGELS ARE NOT PERFECT.
Well, obviously, angels can't be perfect, considering so many of them fall from their position in heaven to become devils or demons serving under Satan, the original fallen angel, the first sinner of God (apart from good ol' Adam 'n Eve). It is said that God granted a set number of angels free will, and granted the rest of the angels will bound only to Him, to serve Him and to forever be His loyal messengers. Those who had free will eventually became arrogant and proud of themselves and fell from heaven. This may be also a symbolic interpretation meant to teach us humans not to become to proud of ourselves; the higher the position, the longer the fall (the sinful angels fell from heaven for NINE DAYS).
Anyway, I believe that there are those angels who wear no clothing and those angels who do; it all depends on who sees them, and their preference '_' (just kidding). In reality, I believe that no one can actually see actual, raw angels or speak to God; they're either seeing an angelic being in disguise or they're speaking through one of them...or they're talking to themselves. Either way, as long as the nudity in the angel isn't explicite and detailed and terribly exploited, then I believe that it is okay and in a way truthful (they are pure holy beings WITHOUT SHAME, so why do they need to cover up? This is how Adam and Eve felt before they ate of the forbidden fruit and their "eyes were opened" (they obtained awareness and shame)). If you see a radiant beautiful angel, then that's what it is; it's everyone else's fault if they mistake it for porn. Personally, I've seen plenty of pictures depicted nude angels and it seemed uncannily normal in the picture...

Since when is a beautiful body unwholesome? I don't believe in angels, but if you believe that God created them, would it matter if they were clothed? If they were not, it would be because they were beautiful creations. To put something dirty onto that is the sin of the beholder.

Angels do wear clothes just like us humans. In the bible they have mention angels making mistakes. I think two Angels wanted to be human so they could be with two beautiful women. They made human suits and had babies with the two women. They were actually called Giants because they didn't look like humans they were very tall and strong. They actually did horrible things to others like stealing and other things. Well God kicked out the two angels, which they actually joined Satan because they had nowhere to go. Also, Satan was actually made by God but Satan wanted to rule and did not want to listen to God.

Technically angels don't have physical bodies, so they have no need of clothing. They can't be naked - you have to have a body in order to be naked. Various art work depicts angels in many different ways, sometimes with clothes, sometimes naked. People have different tastes when it comes to art and some may not care for naked angels. It's important to keep in mind that all of this is just art and the human imagination - real angels aren't physical.

It is perhaps best said that angels are PURE not necessarily "perfect" being that they are still capable of sin. In the Bible angels are in fact clothed.
For an angel to be drawn nude shows very poor taste and are just as godless and mindless as people drawing Jesus smoking weed.

I think the woman is beutiful. I beleive Angels look a little different, But that is the great the about freedom.
