25 Million dead, 5.6 million of those children since the beginning of the epidemic. Millions more orphaned when their parents die. 10,000 a day die from this treatable, preventable disease. But it preys in poverty, neglect, drug abuse, hopelessness, and ignorance.

What can we do, what will YOU do to help overcome this epidemic that has become a plague like no other that is ravaging Africa, South America, India, China, Russia and yes, the United States.

We've overcome major diseases in the past, this disease is worse then all the rest, almost killed more then all the wars of the 20th century..... And yet? Every life matters! Just as if it was your own friend, mother, child that was suffering and dying.

Please consider the impact of this disease and what we can do to overcome it. Please post your solutions to this issue, learn what you can do to help and take action! Please do not wait for your government to do something, what can we do?

Thank you,
-Rob

I guess we should wake up ! and decide: AIDS is not a fatality. yes it kills, yes we don't know how to cure it. but we know how to prevent it. so decide to:
be careful,
INVEST in education and research!
INVEST in Africa and Asia. In Africa alone, AIDS has killed (and it continues to kill) an entire generation; the work force is being wiped out. consequence: economy goes downhill faster! consequence 2: older generation has no mean of subsidence. consequence 3: the younger generation is growing up in poor eco environment + no role model.
now if this is not a recipe for desaster: what is!

WAKE UP AND DECIDE!!!!!!

to deal with it you first have to understand it one AIDS is not A disease it is many it is a constantly mutating and spreading because or several factors 1. Lifestyle 2 iv.drug sharing of infected needles 3.BLOOD TRANSFUSSIONS 4. having sex with an infected partner 5 sharing of any bodily fluids ie semen, saliva , mucosa, BLOOD urine feces cigarettes , sharing drinks eating utensils ect Now to understand it the acronym AIDS is Acquired Immune Defficiency Syndrome in other words your immune system is down not working overhelmed the HIV virus is constantly mutating faster than drugs can be made to deal with it so you have 2 to 3 choices 1. Change your lifestyle none of the above habbits should you practice 2.pray that someone gets wise and works on restoring their immune system it can be done 3. wait for a miracle/die which choice you make is up to you personally I would chose doors 1,2 it works gorbalizer

AIDS cannot be defeated until the brilliant scientists who DESIGNED & ENGINEERED this virus will formulate a sure vaccine to prevent it. It's that simple. Until then - it will ALWAYS be out there.
