How do I tell my girlfriend to shave her mustache?

My girlfriend is beautiful and I love her alot, but she has a very thick mustache and I am sort of embarassed by it. How can she not look in the mirror and notice that her upper lip hair is thicker than mine? Should she shave it or wax it? How should I tell her to get rid of it?

Tell her she has everything a man should want. Hair on her chest, mustache, bulging biceps.

She'll either laugh her butt off, slap you silly or tell you to get lost.

Seriously, she ought to talk to a doctor, preferably a dermatologist and see if there is some sort of cream that will help remove the hair and soften the skin. Shaving like a man does would probably make the problem worse over time.

If you can share a joke or two with her it will be easier to tease her into finding a solution to the problem. Be careful. Some girls know about these problems and are very sensitive about them.

A lot depends on how well you know her and how much she likes and trusts you.

Ok, did she just magically grow this mustache? Cause usually girls with dark upper-lip hair have always had it.....meaning you must have still been attracted to her to ask her out. If she just did grow this dark mustache then I would suggest doing this....

Pretend like you're just being a caring and sweet boyfriend. Give her some money to go with a friend to an all-day spa/waxing parlor or something, and tell her it's so she can feel relaxed and pampered. Someone at that place will most likely tell her something . Good luck, dude.

maybe, get her a day spa or a beauty salon, gift certificate , for starters. Then , when she converses with the person providing the service notices , they'll probably suggest a waxing,or she may even request one. Believe me, she knows it. Every girl is fully aware of all the imperfections on her face. She doesn't shave it is probably because she is worried that once she shaves, it will grow faster and more thick, like a real man's mustache. You need to tell her that won't happen and encourage her to give it a try. Once she realizes how beautiful she looks without the mustache, she will keep shaving it without u telling her to.

You can bring it up, but don't be rude about it like some of these boneheads are telling you. I'm sure she notices but this is an embarrassing issue for girls and she probably doesn't know how to deal with it. Never shave facial hair if you're a woman. She can wax it or use a depilatory cream like Nair which is less painful. Be understanding, I'm sure you're not perfect either.

If I were you, I would play the....awesome, sweet boyfriend role and make an appointment for her at her favorite salon or spa(making sure they do waxing) and pay for it up front. Or get a gift card specifically for an eyebrow, and face wax. Chances are you will get a nice response later after the wax to see if she likes it or not. Tell her how great she looks after her wax job and take her back every once in awhile. She will love this gift from you!

Get her a gift certiicate to a day spa that does facials and waxing. Tell her its a gift special for her becasue she is so special and deserves to pamper herself. Don't even mention the mustache thing. Take her to a massage patrol and bribe someone generously and they will sneak wax on her lips while she is totally relaxed and have her eyes shut. befre she know what happen, they would yank it off. If the worker wn't do it, tell them to pretend they got order mixed up.

Or you can try do it yourself, giveher a massage and facial then slip wax across her lip then try press paper across her lip ad yank it off before she can react. However be prepare for a long yelling and possible a couple nights without sex.

Try to bring it up gently with her reassuring her that you love her no matter what but suggest she get laser hair removal. She should not shave, wax or pluck because the hair will come back even thicker. Offer to go with her to a seminar on permanent hair removal and let her know you will pay for it or at least a portion of it if you can afford to. I say this because you are the one who has the problem with her facial hair. The permanent removal of facial hair will increase her self esteem if it is something she gets teased about. Does she have a close girlfriend that would be willing to talk to her? It might be easier to hear from another woman who can subtly hint at it along with some helpful advide. Hearing it from you might just really hurt her feelings. Or if you have the $ send her to a spa and make the appointment for a facial and a waxing.
