people keep telling me that my standards are too high... is it too much to ask for a guy who's interested in a relationship centered around God and not everything else?

Think about it this way. If you are a religious person(and you sound like one) your whole life (and lifestyle) should revolve around you God. The reason for saying this is because your God will not accept anything other than your whole life. If you cannot find anybody that feels the why that you do it means that you are going to bring your religion into danger and that would mean: gilt. But dont worry the world is full of us that feels the same way about the situation.... (remember you can only rock your world if God is a part of it)

No...your standards are not too high, and if you make sure you keep your focus on God you won't have to worry about finding the right guy, God will bring him to you!! Stay strong in the Lord and don't compromise for anything!

There is a man out there somewhere for you, but I think he lives on a ranch in Utah and already has a few wives. Oh, nope, wait, he was just arrested and had been on the most wanted list for a few months. Rethink what it means to be centered around God.

Keep hoping kiddo.

Don't give up Tasha! God has someone in mind for you. He is just preparing the two of you for each other. If I met my husband a few years earlier we would not be together today.
God bless and keep your eyes on God.

It is not too much to ask.
Are your standards to high or is everyone else's too low?

Keep them high. I waited four years for my wife. Though it seemed like forever, now that I know how awesome it is, I wopuld have gladly waited ten. The bible says that the 14 years Jacob worked for Rachel, seemed as a day to him, because he loved her. Don't compromise; God will send you a godly man in due time. In the meantime, fall in love with Christ. As this godly man falls in love with Christ as well, you two will meet in the middle. God Bless
