No, she was 6 when they got married, but then she got really sick and her hair fell out. She eventually got better and he "consumated" her when she was 9. It's a good thing the 50 + year old man waited until she got her 1st period, otherwise some people might consider him to be a dirty old man a.k.a a child molester.

From Bukhari vol. 7, #65:
"Narrated Aisha that the prophet wrote the marriage contract with her when she was six years old and he consummated his marriage when she was nine years old. Hisham said: "I have been informed that Aisha remained with the prophet for nine years (i.e. till his death).""

Bukhari vol. 5, #234:
"Narrated Aisha: The prophet engaged me when I was a girl of six. We went to Medina and stayed at the home of Harith Kharzraj. Then I got ill and my hair fell down. Later on my hair grew (again) and my mother, Um Ruman, came to me while I was playing.....Unexpectedly Allah's messenger came to me in the forenoon and my mother handed me over to him, and at that time I was a girl of nine years of age."

There it is in black and white. Watch all the Muslims say that I am lying, or I don't understand, or my translation is wrong, etc...

The fact they are so desperate to cover this up says alot.

No, she was fifteen or sixteen when they consummated the marriage. Abu Bakr, her father, was Muhammad best friend and he ask Muhammad to take his daughter's hand in marriage. She lived at home and moved out and consummated the marriage at age 15-16.

The popular misconception as to Aishah’s age may be removed here. . . . Isabah, speaking of the Holy Prophet’s daughter Fatimah, says that she was about five years older than Aishah. It is a well-established fact that Fatimah was born when the Ka’bah was being rebuilt, i.e., five years before the Call. Aishah was therefore born in the year of the Call or a little before it, and she could not have been less than ten years at the time of her marriage with the Holy Prophet in the tenth year of the Call. . . . And as the period between her marriage and its consummation was not less than five years, because the consummation took place in the second year of the Flight, it follows that she could not have been less than fifteen at that time. The popular account that she was six years at marriage and nine years at the time of consummation is decidedly not correct because it supposes the period between the marriage and its consummation to be only three years, and this is historically wrong.[1]

Yes. But either way, she was still a child, even if she reached a precocious puberty at 9.
This makes him a pedophile. Being legally married to her with her parents consent, doesn't change this fact.

The youngest girl ever to give birth, was 5 years old. She was raped, she had a precocious puberty, but she was still a 5 year old baby. The ability to have a period is obviously not what makes you a woman.

Her age is not mentioned anywhere in Quran or Hadiths, its only says, marriage was consummated after she reached puberty.

I think she was a bit older than nine. She had reached puberty before the marriage was consumated.

Yes , when Mohammed was challenged about this by one of his followers he had one of his convenient dreams where he was visited by an angel who told him it was OK.
