Looks like George (and others) believes in predestination and not free will.
It seems rather silly for him to say "go out and get a brain", when he obviously believes that people, or other spirits, cannot change.
Or perhaps he is expressing a deeper truth. Satan cannot change because he is a fictional character. The end of his book has already been written.

I would think if Satan had a change of heart ad truly repented and asked for forgiveness, God would grant it. God is supposed to be merciful and forgiving, even to the worst scoundrels if they truly are sorry.
However, I agree with the other answerers. Satan would not want to be forgiven yet.
Interesting question! I had never thought of it.

Well, if you are considering Lucifer/Satan as a human being, who beleived in Christ, then yes, according to Christain/Catholic Dogma, he would have to.
I personally, if I did belive in God and the Bible, would have a hard time believing in Satan as the orignator of Evil- seeingas in the Old testament, there is no mention of Satan, just of The Serpent and The Advisary. If indeed Satan existed, then it is in all probability (giving he doesn't appear until the New Testament) that he was a person who played The Advocate, and his name happpened to be Lucifer, also known as Satan. Although there is no proof of his existence in a corporeal sense....
So yes, I think he would have to be forgiven, if he chose to ask for forgiveness.

Satan wouldn't ask God for forgiveness because he's trying to compete with God and go against Him. Why would he stop then and not continue?

Moot point. Satan existed in the presence of God and still rebelled although the glory of God was right there before him, thereby demonstrating that his fundamental spirit is one of rebellion.
Satan cannot ask God for forgiveness because Satan doesn't want forgiveness, he wants to be hating God.
Hell is existence apart from God.
Satan has chosen existence apart from God.
Now you go out and get a brain.

No, God will never forgive Satan, Because he started it all, He forgives because we are tempted by him, His fate has been sealed.....And the Devil is too proud to ask for forgiveness, He hates God....
