I said in my original post that muslims were not assimilating into european soceity (oh yeah you have no idea since you don't watch the news or hear the storys). How are CHRISTIANS NOT ASSIMILATING? I've seen a lot of things. I've travelled to several countries, I've talked to a lot of people. For all I know, they are still alive today : )
I guess they are because we email each other still.
So, you feel that we need to focus. God.
I'd like to tell you all that today I couldn't go to work because they called me early and told me not to bother - none of us could access the building. Not even the people who normally receive free bread could go in there.
Because one bunch of Christians had planted a bomb to blow up another bunch of Christians, who had scheduled a meeting at a venue three doors up from where I was headed. So the police cordoned off the area all day to check this out.
I should maybe mention that devout Christian group A was so sincere and convinced about their beliefs that they warned us all about this bomb in the first place.
This lethal device that they put there twenty-five years ago. Nice of them to tell us now. And the really wonderful thing about this all is that Americans funded much of the terrorist purchase of weaponry here, even that far back.
Tell me about this moral and Christian right to live, again? Do. It's better to talk. Really. Our phones were cut off also for hours, and we did have time to contrast talking with the alternatives. Lots of time to think when you can't get through to a landline. You get talking again and find that you have written each other's obituaries in your head, wondering if they were cut off temporarily or - not.
The worst thing about Christians, for Moslems, is that they drink. Too much. Then they pretend that they didn't mean to do what they did.

it's hard to say, coz most of every muslim millitant hide in their religions. They commit sins and killing and then won't admit all their fault because they say ALLAH blessed their ways. It's not true !! No God proves any killing.
On the other hand, there are some muslim people that are really good to each other. It's just a matter on how people translate their religions.
Some translate by doing charity to others, well some just by killing other people.
so, the point is don't a hypocrite. I don't say muslim is bad or good. But most of the muslim have very bad perception on peace, and living together!!

I think your point is: no other religions seem to get people so fired up against other religions they willingly kill themselves in order to take out as many of the "infidel as possible".
people here who are trying to get you engaged into an argument of Christianity against Islam are barking up the wrong tree.
Canada only has 32 miilion people but already at least 1 million moslems....pretty scary, as they are fanatical. I dont care what anyone says. I went to Morocco and Europe when I was just 18, a naive kid from a small town on the Prairies....I was conned and hustled constantly in Morocco...it's their nature...they love a challenge to see how they can trick you...its there culture...we are in for a real cultural meltdown if we keep being so politiaclly correct, and get walked all over...be interesting to watch Iran now...see if they shudder in fear...68 million in Iran....all hating us in the west...now watch the **** hit the fan!

OK, Mr Athiest...the verse of the Quran you quoted is in relation to an event in which the Muslim community was under attack by the people (Non-Muslims) who were supposed to be allies of the Muslim community. They had signed a treaty of co-opporation and non-violence with the Mulsims of the area. Once the the treaty was broken and attacks from their side began, this verse was revealed in response to those attacks. It stated that after waiting through the sacred months you (Muslims) are allowed to fight back.
That is the level of you knowledge. Huh! I thought you Athiests were more "enlightened" since you folks did not believe in that "god stuff". I guess not.

You refer to it as a religion of evil. In my opinion all religion is evil. Religion is the root cause of almost every war. It's shown in history that when people gather together in belief, violence normally ensues when thrown face to face with people of differing beliefs. Christianity certainly took it's share of human life while it was spreading throughout the world, so when you refer to Islam as an evil religion think about the backgrounds of other religions. Islam preaches peace and understanding, but all it takes is a few radicals preaching their ideas to impressionable youths to bring these surges of violence. And by the way, there are plenty of Muslims that condemn terrorist acts and violence.

wow like you know everything eh...i think you don't have any idea about world, and just talk whatever you think is good for you. there is same Christian killers, or maybe more. oh well of course when Muslims kill then they are bad, they are terrorists. but when Christians kill, oh well what can you say they are Christians, and so damn peaceful. Islam is no more violent than Christianity. The only difference is that Muslims actually follow doctrine, whereas Christians pick out the good parts.
Back when Christians followed the bible, even the bad parts, was several hundred years ago (the Inquisitions, the Crusades, the Witch-hunts).
