I wasn't brainwashed, but I did it in the 90's... I had taken the tests during high school... About a yr after graduating... I walked into the Air Force office, told them what I wanted and when I wanted to leave. I told the not to call me unless they could give it to me and give it in writing for a lawyer to review. They called me about three days later, gave me a copy of the file.. The lawyer gave me "thumbs up". I went back and signed the papers, told them not to contact me until 24 hrs before I had to leave. Six months later he called, the next morning I put on sweat pants and a sweat shirt, tennis shoes, and walked out the door. I had my drivers license in my sock... that's all I took. It was one of the best moves I ever made... Its not for everybody.

I wasn't brainwashed by the recruiters, and I don't regret it everyday... And I'm not brainwashed today... I was still my own person in the military... The only thing I regret is that I'm 4 years behind my friends, and I am now just starting college

I enjoy my career in the Navy. Brainwashing is not 15 minute activity that can happen in a recruiters office if you regret your choice accept some responsibility.

I have had alot of fun in the Army. I do not think I was brainwashed by my recruiter. If that was the case I would have got out along time ago.

I think I was in the American military in a past life, probably Vietnam .. .boy, interesting it was! I was one of those people shot in the back while I was down. I had a dream where I felt the pain in the dream when I had the memory. My twin brother (in that lifetime, no brother in this life) was there, too

It really isn't that bad. I wouldn't trade it for the world. Recruiters don't brain wash people most of them just lie (most not all).
