Why Drive-thru food places NEVER get your order right???
It has happened the most at Taco Bell, for me anyways...and it's frustrating when I'm in a hurry.
I go about twice a month but, happens every time. (It's on my way to work)

"I couldn't hear you" BS is always used when I go to Taco Bell and they always mess up my order! I go in and demand for my money back but all they give me is free cinnamon rolls which I hate! Give me extra free tacos!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have the same problem with Taco Hell. Everytime I chk my order it is wrong. Sometimes Im in a hurry and do not check it , when I arrive home it is wrong.

I believe it might be the speakers and sound system, they cannot understand order. I know it is very difficult to understand the order taker.

It does happen a lot. but just keep in mind these are usually young adults just starting out in the work world or slow adults.. Dont let it get you frustrated and ruin your day. Just be thankful that person is not in an operating room or something they are frustrated too i bet, working in that smelly greasy place for minimum wage.

I've only had that happen once or twice. The worst thing that's happened to me is when I went to a burger joint and when I looked in my cup of soda, a worker's name badge was the soda! It was disgusting. We reported it, but since the worker was new to the job, we just let it go since the badge accidentally fell in. It was still disgusting though and employees should be more careful.

Maybe you're not enunciating your words clearly enough. I've never had them mess up an order. Make sure to have them repeat the order back to you so you both know that they got it right. And don't drive away from the window without first looking in the bag to check. I do this, and they know I do this, which it probably why they always get it right.

I'm with you on Taco Bell, thats the only one i really have ever had a problem with, like one item would always be missing, but lately its been better, they've started counting your items before the give it to you. I also have a beef with Sonic, i love their drinks, but there is always such a long, long wait, always no matter what, it totaly sucks! (but i don't stop going)!!! serves me right i guess;)

I think the drive thrus went down hill after Lethal Weapon's Pesci coined the phrase "they F*** you at the drive thru". I think most people just accept it...I DON"T...heck, it's a good way to get your next meal free.

These places pay minimum wage. You're not going to get the best and brightest people working at fast food joints.

Most of the people working at those places are kids being paid minimum wage and they just don't care about their job.
