If a Muslim admits there are errors in the Koran, what happens to him?

I'm getting alot of evasive answers from the last time I asked it. I guess I wasn't clear enough the first time. The question is "WHAT HAPPENS?" not "ARE THERE ERRORS?". I hope that's clear now. Please try to answer the question without going off on some unrelated tangent. We know you can do it. The most honest answer wins. God bless!

A little a-taqiyya goes a long way. Deny you are a Muslim to protect you from persecution, or deny you are a Muslim to appear non-biased. Either way, it's still lying.

You don't really think you will get an honest answer from a Muslim about this do you?

The real root of the dishonesty comes from their hypocrisy in what they SAY they believe about Jesus:

Namely..Muslims claim Jesus was a prophet but in reality reject all His teachings ..

They reject Jesus's divinity;
they reject his claim to be the Son of God;
they reject his death on the cross;
they reject His ressurrection..
They reject Jesus is the Christ/ Messiah...
Need I say more...?

Don't be deceived. The Islamic god is totally different than the God of Jesus Christ

You'd run into the same issue if a Christian said there are errors in the bible. You'll have sane individuals respond with a fairly rational answer, such as the scriptures don't have to be perfect, or something to show the error is not really an error. More likely, as with any religion I might add, you'll be beseiged by the more fundamentalist or fanatic believers that claim it cannot be wrong and so anyone saying so is at best a fool and at worst evil. It would depend heavily on where they are and exactly what they say. A Muslim in America that would say such a thing would likely end up in heated debate. One in Iraq on the other hand may end up in a heated fire-fight.

On a more personal scale they may lose faith, but only if the error is of immense impact, which is unlikely to be the case otherwise it would have been presented a long time ago.

This very question is what sparks most of the fighting among religions and the religious.

Let me tell u... there's no Error in Quran. If there's any error..then it must have been the faked one being distributed by the people who tried to break islamic beliefs. Allah will punish those who faking it.
i've got something from someone with wise answer in my previous question regarding errors made in faked quran...
This has been since the beginning. Even prophet Mohammad (PBUH) had to go through this and he warned us against it. The best thing you can do, is to know what the real Koran says, read it, study it, understand it, AND follow it. As for other non-muslims, the best way to teach them is to just be a good example. Actions speak a lot louder than words.

As for the fake version, don't sweat it too much. Allah has promised us that He will take care of it and He will not allow anyone to alter His last chance for mankind. He has it secured in the pure hearts of many. The only time that will happen is when the day of judgement is right upon us.

Gary! U dont read Quran like we do...
so stop being an idiot and try not to say anything especially if you don't know what you are saying. Keep your moronic answers (and questions) to yourself.
As far as I can see, you are the one filled with hatred and bigotry. If you get your head out of your a** and maybe try to study Islam or actually read the Koran, you can say something intelligents <-- another wise advice from someone in my page....

The be extensive unsleeping Kaffir comes from kuf'r, to conceal or conceal. The be extensive unsleeping exchange into used as an meant insult indoors the Qur'an the area it reported that the Disbelievers hid and lined the reality. A Kaffir, in accordance to Islam is all individuals who would not have self assurance of their nonsense. It has no longer some thing to do with being offered to Islam or willfully rejecting it. in case you disbelieve, for any reason, you're reported as a kaffir. you will see that the context wherein that's used indoors the Qur'an is to demean and insult the others who did no longer settle for Mohammad's %. of lies. .

There are no errors, it is unchanged unlike the bible, so how can you expect them to admit something is erroneous when it has not been changed. You are basically saying to trying to say that the Qu'arn is wrong, erroneous and thus the religion itself. Grow up, and learn a bit of respect.

Edit:

My comprehension of the English language! Dont make me laugh, we are the ones that speak proper and correct un-bastardised English. Why dont you use that money and pay for your own education little girl! Your disrespect of the Islamic faith is deafening, proven by this and many other of your questions.

If a Muslim simply doesn't agree with his religion, he just simply converts...

By the way, you say the word 'admit' like there actually are errors in the Qur'an. Who are you to say that something in a book that you don't even try to understand first is wrong?

I am a Christian pastor who has studied Islam. As per your question - When this happens the entire faith is undermined. Because to admit its errors, is to deny its inerrancy. If the Koran is not inerrant, then it cannot be trusted in matters of faith and practice. This would probably result in excommunication. God Bless.

sigh. babe, you need to get out more often.

what happens? simple. he is no longer a Muslim.

but now my question is, what answer do you WANT to hear? that we chop off his head, burn his toe-nails, or shave his eyebrows off?

just cuz YOU can't understand the Qur'an doesn't mean that the Qur'an is wrong.
