I am an Honorably discharged US Air Force Security Specialist-My father was 35 years Navy as a Commander-our family goes back in the protection of serving this country (I have family in Iraq now!)-but over here I see the Christian right trying to run this country by their majority rule and you have bought into their plan by becoming a saved Christian-which is destroying the world at large-LOOK and see that all of the RICH in this world are RELIGIOUSLY connected-They are gangs-mass maurarders-that do not send their children to fight the wars BUT YOURS! Because they have you believing that U R Saved! What you are is CONTROLLED by a simple belief system that makes you believe that to do otherwise is a SIN-Do U C these HUGE enterprises contributing their wealth to helping those of us that FOUGHT 4 this COUNTRY? I will tell U solidly NO! They will suggest it is covered in TAXES-B.S.-They live a high standard of living making U desire this-but YOU ARE A SINNER if U do-WAKE UP 4 Christ sakes!

I'm trying to figure out what point you are trying to make. It isn't real clear.

Let me see if I have your scenario straight - you signed up for the military and agreed to the rate of pay. You did the job, which took you to the other side of the world for awhile, and you got paid for it. Everything was exactly the way you and the government agreed it would be (except for the fact that you took advantage of some Iraqi girl while you were there and made a family with her, which you abandoned when you came back to America). Now you have a problem with the fact that private citizens are not giving you more money than you agreed to.

And somehow you feel that all of that ties into a problem with American people being religiously conservative?

Uh, I fail to see your line of reasoning.

My nephew served honorably in Iraq a few years ago. He is still in the military. When he came back from Iraq, I asked him this: "I've heard that some guys have a hard time when they come back. Why is that?"

He said "The only guys I've seen having a hard time when they came back are the ones who did things they shouldn't have while they were over there."

It seems pretty obvious where you stand.

I am also an honorably discharged veteran of the Air Force. I have have a blog where I posted on this subject specifically. I have links on this blog to videos that support everything I say about the greatest threat to the world. I am also a Christian and know that I live a better life now than I ever did as a self willed person. I am not brainwashed and I did not check my brain at the door when I went in there to examine Christianity. I am not rich and my role in the work place is low man in field management. Your presumptions listed above are definitely conspiracy-phobic.

Look at the evidence, and quit blaming the people that support the work of our troops. Peace is not possible when the enemy doesn't want peace. They don't want concessions, they don't want aid, they want to rule the world. They want to force everyone to accept Allah as their god. The want to force the world to bow in prayer 5 times a day. And, if we did submit, we would be no safer than we are today. They kill each other more than all their enemies kill them.

Check it out. Their most popular religious and political leaders are speaking hate, death, and destruction against the West. These aren't the nuts in the hills of Afghanistan, these are the elected officials and the popular sheiks. Their internationally syndicated TV programming is rife with anti-western, suicide bomber glorifying propaganda.

Of the people you would condemn most have served in the military themselves.

In fact, I doubt your word that you are a veteran. What was your AFSO? Can you even tell me what an AFSO is? How about an APO? I'm wasting my time answering a fake who is thinly disguising his propaganda.

John 8:34
Jesus replied, "I assure you that everyone who sins is a slave of sin

Going off of that, we all were/are slaves to sin! But once someone accepts Jesus as their Savior from that bondage...

Romans 6:6
Our old sinful selves were crucified with Christ so that sin might lose its power in our lives. We are no longer slaves to sin.

Our sinful natures were crucified on the cross, and ONLY CHRIST walked out of the tomb. So now, He lives within each and every Christian. And now...

Galatians 4:7
Now you are no longer a slave but God's own child. And since you are his child, everything he has belongs to you.

How wonderful is THAT! There is nothing I could ever be or do that could begin to repay that awesome privilege. Even so, I DO give myself willingly to my Savior!

Ephesians 3:7
By God's special favor and mighty power, I have been given the wonderful privilege of serving him by spreading this Good News.

And is God king? YES! He is THE King of Heaven, and Ruler of my life! That is a fact I will not hide, and not a position to be ashamed of either!
I can tell you are a little...off kilter at the moment, no offense. Our churches don't SEND their congregations children, I'm sure you of all people would know that it is a personal CHOICE to enlist. I think that you are misinterpreting Christianity. However, it is also possible that you are looking at certain groups and cults that would like to be able to label themselves as Christians, like Jehovah Witnesses and Mormons, for example. Their are also, unfortanetly, people who pose as Christians, but only talk the talk, and don't walk the walk. Perhaps it is these unfortunate groups that you are looking at. Refocus, and try looking at the true Christians! You will not be disappointed, unless you are blind to truth. God bless!

I am sorry to hear that you got entangled into this mess. Your leaders are at war with other leaders in the name of the Holy Oil and show of strength through the latest technology in weaponry and fighting skills. It is all about greed, power and world control.
Religion on both sides has been used and you were indoctrinated to a blind cause. Religion is the easiest way to agitate one's mind as it blinds you to believe you are doing it for your God and country. God is being used and abused by both warring factions. Your Christian church have been telling everyone that they are against this war that has been happening, it just so happened that your leaders are also Christian but surely there is no pulpit in the world where you will hear declaring a Holy War against those other belief who use killing as Holy but in their own mosque they also pray for the end of all this.
I am sorry about that but you have to look deeper into the matter.

we must have forgotten to take our meds again. ok put a plastic bag over your head hold it tight until the hallucinations have stopped. that's better!
our way of life is still worth fighting for. we would not have it if we all turn our backs when the dirty work needs to be done!! rich, poor, white, black and everyone else has the same stake in the game and the same responsibility. no one in the U.S.Military today is there against there will.

First of all, thank you for your service in defending this nation. I do respect that.

I also respect your right to believe as you wish with respect to God. We live in a society that is built on the foundation of freedom of religion. All sides in this debate have the right to express their views. However, let me give you a tip. No one likes being told that they are stupid. Your harangue does just that. Rather than convince people of your point of view you are just going to drive them away.

See that is your problem, you think of religion.
Religion puts a new suit on an old man but TRUE Bible believing Christianity puts a NEW MAN in an old suit. It changes you from the INSIDE OUT!
Salvation has NOTHING to do with money or going to church or even being good (not of works lest any man should boast EPHESIANS 2:9)
Salvation is by FAITH... nothing else, so I AM saved!!

People need to wake up in general. The bible zombies are marching to an eternity in the void.
