Talk to her (even if she just listens) and let her know how you feel! She's feeling awkward because she does have feelings for you (otherwise she wouldn't be your friend) so every thing is getting complicated for her. Let her know things aren't so smooth on your end either. That you do care for her and that you miss her... Things will probably never be the same though I hope you know that, but then again they just might be better in the end.
Good Luck to you both!

She is probably confused now since you both have been friends for so many years. Women usually do not use men as a play toy without having some kind of emotional bond. She probably does not know where she stands in this relationship. She probably wants more or maybe she feels as though she might have messed up the friendship you two share. Talk to her about what happened and see what she might be thinking.

She feels awkward because she doesn't know how to respond to you anymore. She may still want to be your friend, but she's not sure what kind of relationship you will now have. You need to sit down and talk to her, discuss what happened between yourselves that time, and figure out where you both want to go from here. Avoiding this issue on both your parts is not healthy for either of you. You both need closure. If it was a mistake, a one-time curious encounter, or whatever, talk about it and get on with your lives.

That's a catch 22. Once you crossed that friendship line and engaged in sexual acts with your friend she no longer can be just friends with you, unless she's a tramp and does things like this all the time with the men she dates. Sit down and try to talk it out but do not say you made a mistake by having sex with her or you'll really be in the doghouse.

If you are old enough to have sex, then you are old enough to sit down with her and have a frank discussion about what happened and how you feel about it.
Oh and did you ever stop to think that maybe she has something to tell you?

You are going to have to get her alone and talk about why she is avoiding you.........Lots of times this can happen because of the other's insecurity about their OWN feelings........Hang in there......
