Hey Rodney! Why don't you leave other religions a lone and let people believe what it is that they want to believe. YOU MIGHT NOT agree with it, but other people choose to believe it and you should have respect for that .
To answer your question, Mormons are not a cult. Go to a Mormon church one Sunday and you will find out for yourself.

A cult is a group that preaches everybody goes to hell if they don't follow them.
Mormons teach that the atonement of Jesus Christ was necessary for salvation. Why don't you research this before you rant?

No, Mormonism is not a cult.
It is by faith we are saved after all we can do.
In other words, Mormons believe that faith without works is dead. You have to live the best life you can, do the best you can to follow Jesus Christ and be the best person you can be. Even then we all fall short, and Jesus Christ redeems us from our shortfalls and failings.
Mormons believe pretty much the same as everything you stated in your "question".

The mainstream Mormons are not a cult.
People that dont know anything about another religion should see what is about before saying things that they just hear. just like with anything something you dont understand people are ready to say something bad about it.
Warren Jeffs people now they are what you would call a cult they do what he says and believe everything he tells them.

I'm sorry, but you seem to have a pretty thin understanding of our doctrine.
We absolutely believe that it is only possible to be saved through the grace of Jesus Christ.
I'm glad that you and I have that in common.
To learn more about our doctrine, try reading the Book of Mormon and compare it to the Bible. You'll find that the teachings are the same. And if you pray and ask God sincerely about it, He will reveal to you that the Book of Mormon is His word.

Well, first off, please learn to spell and to constuct proper sentences. Your argument will make a lot more sense that way, even though I doubt it would anyway since your dialogue was incredibly rambling.
Second, yes, Mormonism is a cult. This is because all branches of Christianity are cults. Since it is mostly accepted, it is now considered a true religion, but it was originally and still is a cult.

According to the definition of a cult, all religions are. If you would ever go to a Sunday service you would see it's not so different from any other church service.

they were a cult, but became big enough to be a religion. Remember both Christianity and Islam are just off shoots of Judaism, so therefore they were once nothing more than a cult.

All religions are cults. Some are big and some are small. Look up the definition.
