Is licking your lips bad? I like my lips constantly, and now it's a habit, does it do anything to hurt me? I know that I should not lick my lips when they are dry, but how bout when they aren't dry?

Get chapstick or something to put on them when you are wanting to lick them....No harm in doing it tho

Just a habit. In the cold winter time you should stop because it will cause you lips to chap and crack. Keep a good coat of chap stick on your lips and concentrate on breaking the habit.
As the other person stated "Could send the wrong signal to men present IF there are any weird ones there". That is true and the men don't have to be weird. A woman licking her lips in front of men is, to some women, a signal they will give oral sex. Is that reason enough? Pops

Licking your lips does make them dry. In fact some people use there saliva to dry out their pimples. My friend used to lick her lips and she got chaffing around her lips. Doctor told her to stop licking her lips and use balm.

I lick my lips all the time, they used to get really chapped and peel alot but latley they havent been...if you live in a climate where it gets really cold like under 35..then i would say use chapstick cuz your lips will start to burn if they get to dry.

I lick mine all the time. Been doing it for as long as I can remember, 19 right now, and I haven't noticed anything bad.

just use chapstick or something on your lips everynight while you sleep.
look at L.L. Cool J- he licks his lips ALL the time too.
