The fibula or calf bone is a bone placed on the lateral side of the tibia, with which it is connected above and below. It is the smaller of the two bones, and, in proportion to its length, the most slender of all the long bones. Its upper extremity is small, placed toward the back of the head of the tibia, below the level of the knee-joint, and excluded from the formation of this joint. Its lower extremity inclines a little forward, so as to be on a plane anterior to that of the upper end; it projects below the tibia, and forms the lateral part of the ankle-joint.
The tibia or shin bone, in human anatomy, is found medial (towards the middle) and anterior (towards the front) to the other such bone, the fibula. It is the second-longest bone in the human body, the largest being the femur. The tibia articulates with the femur and patella superiorly, the fibula laterally and with the ankle inferiorly.

Salams! I hope things keep improving! Really, although this is very frustrating, it takes a long time to heal completely. I hope you are taking Arnica (homeopathic), in a D12 or C30 potency. If you can´t get it there see if someone at home can send you a small bottle. Take one tablet or 5 Globuli (those little white balls) 3 times a day, not together with food / drinks. This will REALLY help the healing process as well as the swelling, and it is not expensive. Also, there are no side effects, and doesn´t interfere with any other meds. In the meantime, sister, be patient. There is a reason behind everything, so try to figure out how you might actually benefit from this, in some way. Maybe you are supposed to slow down for a while, and concentrate on other things? In any case, take care!!

The Tibia & Fibula are the two large bones of the lower leg, right under your knee cap, also known as your shin. The two bones between your knee cap and your ankle.
P.S. don't pay any attention to people who feel they need to answer you with immature answers. There is no such thing as a stupid question, only stupid people who are afraid to ask them.

They are the two bones in the lower leg from the knee to the ankle. The frontal bone is the fibula, and the anterior one is the tibia. In other words, the shin bone, fore and aft. Like the song, "the knee bone connected to the shin bone, the shin bone connected to the ankle bone....etc. etc....."

Below the knee. the tibula is the bone closest to the big to and the fibula is closet to the pinky toe. I remembered it by saying tibula is too big and fibula is too finiky. Tibula is a bigger bone than the fibula.
