Look at your display and see how many more pictures the card will hold. It should be there somewhere. If you change the resolution of your images, the number will also change. If this is the trip of a lifetime, move those 150 pictures off of your card! Put them on your hard drive and make room for all the pics you need.
A 3.2 MP camera will most likely use only about 2 MB per image at maximum resolution and largest size, but let's err on the safe side and say it would be 2.5 MB per image. 1,000,000,000 divided by 2,500,000 means there is room for at least 400 images on an empty card.
In order to get that 1,000 range mentioned in other answers, you'd have to shoot a smaller size and/or lower resolution. I would recommend that you not do this on your trip. Again, when will you be in Alaska again? I would much rather have a decent image to work with or crop than wish I had not used a low resolution in order to get more pics on the card.
Oroboris has made a great suggestion. You can get a decent brand name, higher speed card (like a Sandisk Ultra II or a Lexar 40-80x) and carry it as a spare in case you fill this one up. They are pretty cheap compared to the cost of your trip.

I don't know exactly how many. It depends on how may megapixels you take them at and what angle you take them at. I would estimate that you camera with a 1GB memory card holds over 1000 pictures. (That's just my estimation. If you have time I would do a Google search and see if I could find anything. There's probably a website that tells about how many pics a specific memory card holds.)

Depends on the file size of each individual photo. For example, assuming an average file size of 5 megabytes each, you can store 200 photos, which is what you currently have.
If your memory card supports it, I would recommend compressing the files (i.e. Zip, Rar) formats so that you may store more photos. And definitely keep back-up files on your main computer's hard drive.

It will hold 1GB worth. How many individual photos depends on what size & compression you're saving them at. Download the photos that are now in the memory card to your computer in order to save them and free up space in your memory card. You may want to purchase another memory card, just in case you get photo-happy on your vacation. If you're like me - you will!
