Why do you care if your parents think your bf is ugly or not? that is shallow of your dad to even have said that.
I would do nothing about it. Let it go and if your dad says something again. Counter it by saying, "Dad monkeys are in this season... just check out this months cosmo...." He probably has some issues stemming from loosing his little girl or some crap like that.
All that matters is if you like the dude then stick with the dude.

First off, that's your dads opinion, What do you think? and more importantly don't just look at the outside of a person, its the inside that counts, he probably has a good heart and for you to let your dad or anyone else decide what you should do may just make you miss out on a good thing. Go with how you feel inside and how this person is treating you before you just throw it away because of how someone feels about the way he looks.

he's your dad. He needs you to have the main suitable you will get so which you're able to be satisfied in life. He probable needs you to not be with him for different motives, yet being grotesque is probable the biggest reason. He needs his daughter to have an extremely sturdy boyfriend, not some lame one. in case you 2 marry, he needs an beautiful step son. pay attention on your dad and ditch him.

Your dad isn't the one dating your boyfriend. If he cute to you than thats all that matters. Looks aren't everything any ways. If your dad says other bad things about him take it into consideration but make up your own mind about him. Tell your dad you like him and that upsets you when he say thing like that...

It does not matter what your dad things ignore it. Say to your dad well you may not think hes good looking but he sure knows how to pleasure in bed properly. Or something along that line.

Explain to your dad that you find him attractive and not everything is all about looks, he may just be trying to pull you away from him so you will stay close to him. Anyway who cares what your dad thinks your the one who matters!

1) He hates your boyfriend, so he tells you bad things about him, like he's ugly, so you can break up with him.
2) He really DOES think your boyfriend is ugly.

Tell your dad that is why he is not dating him you are. Dad's do not want to see there little girls with anyone. Tell him to back off it could be worse than his looks being ugly he could be an abuser.....

you can't really do anything. your dad is your dad, what are you gonna do, pick a fight with him. so what if your dad said he was ugly. you're the one that's dating him. he may not be prince charming but his inner personality could be the thing that got you attracted to him. it's ok.
