I have to disagree with some of the others and state that all youth relationships do not end in failure. My son and daughter in law have been together for 17 years, as they began as high school sweeties. They have now been married for 9 years and have two beautiful children. And the great part is that they still love and adore each other as much as when they were much younger.

First, you got to define 'failure'. If both parties walk away from the relationship feeling it was good while it lasted but that it was definitely over; is that a failure?
If the parties get married is that a success? but what if they raise a fine healthy productive family together and once the last kid is out of the house they divorce, is that a failure?

No. I'm living proof. I've been with the same guy since I was 15. We've been together almost 12yrs. now and couldn't be happier. He's my best friend and the love of my life.

the odds are definately not in your favour but it doesn't mean it's impossible. also they may end but i wouldn't say it's a failure because it is through young relationships that people learn how to have relationships and also learn about themselves.
