It's now 11pm my time, and I'm still at work. I've been working since 8am this morning... Is God punishing me?

Cause if he is punishing me - I rather go to the dark side - at least I'd get something out of it...

(I think I'm going a little batty right now - bear with me)

--- Oh and for those not familiar with me - I don't believe in God---

*now watch all the "Yes God is punshing you because you don't believe in him" answers*

I didn't think God punshed anyone - I thought he was all about love... but wait - I'll burn in hell anyway cause I don't believe in him...

Hm mm, I'd be inclined to say no, but you never know with God. In my opinion ( A lawyer once told me if I start every sentence this way I can't get sued for slander! ) God ( Who to my knowledge has never filed a civil suit ) couldn't give a rabbits biscuit what we do as long as we're amusing. I found your question amusing so God must surely see the sublime much better than me and is really yucking it up! There, that might be it, God's just screwing with you for giggles, hate isn't on the agenda at all. Good Old God, making us laugh and leading the fun. What a world!

I just wish to point out that I punish my daughter and I love her, all at the same time. That has absolutely no correlation with your question, other than to point out that punishment and love are not mutually exclusive. I'm not suggesting you are or aren't being punished. I won't address that part. Since you don't believe in God, I figure you don't really need an answer to that.

God does punish, he says he is slow to anger but that doesn't mean it'll be put off forever. If you say you'll burn in hell because you don't believe in him then is that contradictory because if you don't believe in him then why would you go to hell, who will send you there, not Him that you don't believe in. Anywho, toodleloo!

Romans 8:28 All things work together for good for those who love the Lord and are called unto His purpose.

Do His will.
He is working it out for you.
