It's just preschool but I wil cry, did you?
My son starts pre school on Tuesday and we did the meet and greet tonight. I already wanted to cry watching him in that classroom. I have so many concerns and worries cause he has autism( mild ) . We spoke to the teacher and director about the situation and they are just great and his therapist will go when needed to help him in the classroom.
I know On Tuesday morning when I take him the first time I will cry but at least my daughter who is 17 months old will finally get alone time with mommy!
Did you cry the first day your child went to pre school?
sounds silly huh>?

It's not silly and you'll do it agian when your daughter goes. My children had daycare and preschool wrapped together and I work there, so it wasn't bad at all. But I cried when my oldest went to kindergarden several years ago and I will agian when my middle child starts on Tuesday. I have one more to go in a couple years and I'm sure I'll cry then too. Its a girl thing......

Actually I didn't cry. I was slightly relieved. I could have several hours a day ALL TO MYSELF!! WHOO HOO!!! I got to shop without hearing the whining, I got to take as long a shower as I wanted to, I even got to read books with absolute silence. After the novelty of that wore off, then I cried. It was nice to be able to do things for myself that I didn't normally get to do, but after I did all those things, I felt kinda useless. It was like, well now what do I do? So I'd show up early to pick him up, and sit in the parking lot until it was time. Pathetic I know. But now my baby is 8, his older brother is 10, and I dance a jig when they go off to Grandma's for the weekend. ;) I'm sure I'll do the same thing when this one is born. lol

Not only did I cry, I hid behind the bushes behind the fence to make sure the kids and teachers were being nice to her. I was spotted by some worried moms... They did not know what this strange woman was doing peeping through the fence... How embarassing, but you know what? I don't care...lolz.
