there's this girl i really like. she projects that she isn't a virgin but i found out that she is. i have nothing agianst inexperienced girls. it's always cool to be the first one. i don't know if i misunderstood her or i was played along.

Usually its the other way around. A girl who is not a virgin wants to believe she is. Maybe the reason why she said she wasn't was because she was afraid that if she was inexperienced that you would not like that. I wouldnt make a big deal out of it. I would just assure her that you are ok with that and that in the future she be honest with you.

If you're not more interested in what the status of 'first' means in a person's life then my hope is that you just leave her alone. Who knows maybe she could can loose her virginity to someone who is sensitive and in love with her.--And not someone she feels she has to lie to and try to be someone she's not.
There are plenty of girls out there that you can 'do.' Why not leave the virgins to the ones who care?

How does she project she is not a virgin? You probably misunderstood her, get to know her she may have very high standards but does not want anyone to think she is uncool.

Ya. Who the hell wants to announce to everyone that they are a virgin. I did that too, you can trust her if that is what you are basing the trust on because sometimes it is embarrassing especially once you get older and everyone seems to not be, you don't want to project that you are.

She probably thought that being a virgin is uncool, and tried to cover up her vulnerability by lying to you.
Or maybe she doesn't want someone to go out with her just because she is a virgin.
But anyhow, I think it is a harmless lie and don't think she is toying with you.

Girls her age often pretend that they are more experienced than they are so they don't get teased by their friends. You don't have to read anything else into it, nor should you talk to her about it. This is no reason not to trust her.

she probably wanted you to be immpressed. most girls will lie and make up stuff for a boy. maybe she was emmbarrassed about it. so dont worry, i think you can trust her.
