Two wrongs don't make a right, and hatred being wrong can not be fixed with more hatred - only with love and patience, acceptance and understanding can heal the results of hatred. This has been an unwritten law for humanity for eternity, though many of us chose to ignore it.

We can never stop the hatred by returning that hatred and keeping it going. We are supposed to return hatred with love. Only when we learn to do this, will things improve. We are human and the only way we can succeed in doing this is with the love of Christ in our hearts. That is what we are commanded to do; to love those who hate us.

The only way to end hatred is with love. Hate+Hate=More Hate.
Love is the only way to conquer all things. That is something that will be true always and forever.

It simply means that if someone hates you, it doesn't pay to hate them back. You are better off being nice to them. For example, if the Unites States was being hated by Iraq, and the Unites States said "Screw You Guys, We're Going to Kick Your ***", the outcome would be bad.... oh wait, that really happened. If we would have just helped the Iraqi people out and showed them that life could be better, we would have made friends for life. And in the end we probably would have had a profitable trade relationship.

It means hating hateful people isn't very productive. For example, the KKK...it would be really easy for me to hate them but if I try to understand why they are so hateful and believe the way they do, then maybe I would have a chance of reasoning with them (doubtful, I know). And hate is a very negative emotion, whereas love is positive. Positive=good; negative=bad.

you can't always hate but there can be a little love on the side. If you hated something or whatever it is, wouldn't you feel bad and give it a little bit of love? Like your non good friends they talk so much you wanna kill them but then you still love them, or something like that for example.

It's a karmic theory. If you hate, hate will only come back to you. A hate filled exsistence is influenced by previous lives. The results may not occur in the same life but they will come back to you.

Hatred repaid by hatred fuels the fire creating a vicious cycle. Love (and compassion) tamps it down, ultimately erasing hatred. [BUT I WILL GET MY POUND OF FLESH! -- Shylock]

In order to stop hate you have to start with love. SO... now i ask if an eye for an eye is right , but what if both eyes belonged to the same person????
