I grew up 10 miles outside of Asheboro,in a suburb called Caraway.Great mountains and just 15 miles from Asheboro Zoo.

I was born and raised for 5 years in North Carolina! Although we lived on the East Coast...Newport...dont' know if you've ever heard of it or not..my dad was in the marine corps...now I live in Minnesota!! Good luck with your move if you do decide on it!

Greensboro. I lived there for a year. Quiet and peacful but way not boring -- lots of clubs and night life. Airport in town (GSO) lots of colleges -- so a good diverse community.

mY dream neighborhood is Kitty Hawk NC. I fell in love with it. The ocean is nice...the only problem is you better live in some really expensive neighboorhood where cheapest house is 175,000 otherwise you'll think your living in Mexico.

you might love the Manteo area. my best friend lives there.. it is near the ocean. none of his family.. near or distant relatives has ever moved away.. they all want to stay!
