Here is your answer.
Go to Best Buy. they have a 6 disk CD player that fits under the seat. it has a wired remote and it hooks into the antenna line...This is the best and cheapest CD player I found for my 99
You can get in touch with Crutchfield if you want to redo the dash they have adapter plates for this....I used one in my daughters escort. the cost of the one at Best Buy is just over 100 bucks and works great.

Forget Ford .. as the dealer normally charges about $300 for a remanufactured one.... Try like others said,crutchfield, circuit city, best buy, the wiz and other places like that ... way cheaper aftermarket for like quality or better with adapters to mate to the factory radio
