My young 1 year old Tabby seem to have conceived at 9 months old.... She Just had 3 kittens in the last hour.... and, for sure, one of my young males is the father... I think the bleu-russian one, because he kept near her the most.... So how many kittens should I expect in average...? I already have 6 cats besides these new borns.... Any good home wants a kitten in 2 months or so??
My Tabby girl is angora, one of the most intelligent and quiet... the father is bleu-russian looks... very affectionate... and caring...
Thank you for your infos... I never had Tabby before last year..., she is adorable...

I have 3 males ans 3 females... all helped from eutanasia....an abondonnement...

My Tabby was thrown out of a car at barely 6 weeks old... The lay driving being saw it and collected 2 kittens... She kept one, and I at the time, already had 7..., but I took her in too... Now I'm own to 6 and would want to get down to 4... Plus I feed 2 stays where I work and do not want to bring them home... I move from country to subburb...an my cat are HOUSE cats... If they reproduce, it could only be within the family.... , but I certainly will have my little Tabby fixed....

She should have anywhere from 4 to 8 kittens, I help out at my local veterinary clinic, even though I'm only 14. Its very fun and you will learn many things about animals.

The number of kittens to a given litter is a different subject. Litters can range from one to eight or more kittens, although either end of the range is fairly rare. Let's say an average of two to five kittens, with maximum numbers present between the ages of two and eight (of the queen). If you are really curious, your veterinarian may be able to give you a "head count" by palpating the abdomen, most successful between 25 and 35 days after mating. Ultrasound is another safe tool for verifying pregnancy, as well as for counting the embryos.
Hope this helps!!!!

She could have anywhere up to 8 or 9 kittens but probably not that many if this is her first litter. Why dont you have her desexed after the kittens are old enough. i dont think a 1yr old cat should be having kittens (a bit to early ).

hopefully not more than 3 or 4, if this is her first litter. i picked up a pregnant stray and decided to keep her and find the kittens a home. two weeks later she had nine kittens. still managed to find them all homes. point is.......you never know. good luck.

Hope you will consider spaying and neutering your adult cats. Too many kittens + not enough homes = Euthanasia
