I know a TKD school that has DVD's that they sell their students for $15.00 that will teach them how to tie their belt. The instructor won't teach you, you have to buy his DVD.

loop the belt around your waist, depending on your belt length.

loop twice if required if belt is too long.

then have two ends of the belt at the centre of your attire in the front with the right end of the belt slighlty longer then the left end.

use the right end and tie a knot. the knot will be kinda flattened sort of knot.

then using the right end again, go under every single layer of belt. as in the loops that you have made initially. go through every single loop and use the right end to tie another "flattened" knot with the left end.

the left and right end should be around the same length. not too short nor not too long though. too short will make you look retarded while too long will hinder in your movements.

if black belt or junior black belt, the belt should be tied with the names and the korean symbols facing the front. ( at least there is on mine).

practice a few times and you will get it eventually. practice makes perfect. no need to rely on some video. hahas.

take the ends and put them together to find the center of the belt by placing your finger in the loop at the bottom, then place the looped end of the belt against your waist and pull the ends behind you to wrap them around your waist.

take the end of the belt on your left and pull it over the right end of the belt and pull underneath the part of the belt that is wrapped around your waist and up.

From there, the end that is still on your right; pull it over and under the side that is on your left, the belt is now in a square knot and should stay tied.
